The Firm's Corporate Finance Department delivers a full spectrum of investment banking services for its corporate clients. The principal focus of the Department is on financing emerging growth and middle market growth companies and on assisting companies on merger and acquisition (M&A) transactions. The Department has an active Fairness Opinion practice and also provides litigation support and expert witness testimony in business related cases (see "Ancillary Services"). PSS prides itself on delivering Wall Street quality services on a timely basis for prices substantially below those of many larger firms.

The Firm's financing activities include the raising of senior debt, subordinated debt, privately placed equity and PIPE's (Private Investments in Public Equities). All securities transactions are conducted through PSC's affiliated NASD Broker/Dealer, Pacific Summit Securities.

The Firm does not specialize by industry but it has established strong areas of expertise, especially in certain technology sectors such as healthcare and medical devices, and computer hardware and software.
